Midfielder Fabio Ferraresi, 19, makes his sole appearance in a Villa shirt as a substitute after joining from Cesena Youth in June 1998 to become the 728th player to play for Villa in first team League or Cup football. Ferraresi would move on to Chievo Verona in July 1999 without making a further appearance.
