Teddie Bloomfield signs his first professional contract

Villa u18s left-back Teddie Bloomfield has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Teddie joined the club as a 14-year-old from Ipswich Town's youth set up and was promoted to Villa's u18s aged 16 in July 2024 before going on to make five appearances, four as substitute in Villa's 2024-25 FA Youth Cup victory.

Academy Manager Mark Harrison:

 “We are delighted that Teddie has signed his first professional contract. This is great recognition for his hard work and performances over the last 12 months.

“Teddie is an attacking left full-back who has great energy and desire to make an impact on the game. He enjoys getting forward, as well as being aggressive as a defender.

“At 17, he has played for both the Under-19s team in the UEFA Youth League and Under-21s team this season, and done well.

“We look forward to seeing how Teddie develops over the next few seasons.”
