Following on from Cole Brannigan, Fletcher Boyd, Alfie Lynskey, Leon Routh, Keilan Quinn, Teddie Bloomfield, Jack McGrath, Finlay Barnard and Oliver Bindley, Brad Burrowes becomes the latest, and perhaps most significant, Villa youngster to sign a new contract with the club.
Brad, fresh from his treble-winning U18 campaign last season, has carried on his form and influence, hitting eight goals and contributing two assists in his 9 PL2 appearances so far this season, together with five goals and two assists in Villa’s FA Youth Cup run.
Having already made his Premier League bow in August and making the squad four times so far in 2025-26, the excitement around Burrowes is significant, with great expectations for his development.
Welcoming the news of the latest signee, Academy Manager Mark Harrison said:
“We are delighted Brad has signed a new long-term contract. He has had a very positive last 18 months at the club.
“We have been really pleased with his development as an attacking player who can create and score goals. He also has a fantastic mentality and character, which is a great credit to him and his family.
“He is definitely a role model for our younger Academy players, and we really hope this now provides him with the platform to transition into a senior player at the club.”
