Tommy Moore
Player #347 for Aston Villa, Thomas Moore, known as Tommy Moore, played as a winger for the club in the outside left position.
Tommy played for Villa in 1931-32 making just a single appearance in the final game of the season.
Tommy was born in Dudley Port, just 8 miles from Villa Park, on 27 April 1910 and made his sole appearance for Villa on the 7 May 1932 aged 22.
Villa had signed Tommy from Stourbridge in February 1932 and moved on to Bournemouth in August 1934 without featuring for the first team again.
Although his Villa career was limited, Moore did have the honour of scoring on his single appearance but could not help Villa avoid a 2-3 defeat to Huddersfield Town.
Tommy also had the honour of being the grandson of Ike Moore who like his grandson played for Villa for just one season making 6 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
Tommy had played under the Billy Smith led Management Committee.
