Biography
Josh Onomah
Player #910 for Aston Villa, Joshua Oghenetega Peter Onomah, known as Josh Onomah, played as a midfielder for the club during the 2017-18 Football League Championship campaign.
Onomah was born in Enfield on 27 April 1997.
Steve Bruce had signed Onomah on loan from Tottenham Hotspur on 4 August 2017 for the remainder of the 2017-18 season as Villa attempted to win promotion back to the Premier League.
Onomah made his competitive debut for Villa as a substitute in the 1-1 home draw with Hull City on Saturday, 5 August 2017, at the age of 20.
Onomah became a first-team regular through to December 2017 and scored his first goal for the club in the 1-1 away draw with Bristol City in August 2017.
Onomah, however, lost his place in the Villa first team in 2018 and only made another 6 starts for the club through to the end of his loan spell.
He did, however, add a further 3 goals to his tally.
Onomah made his final appearance for Villa as a substitute in the play-off final defeat to Fulham on Saturday, 26 May 2018, before returning to his parent club, Tottenham, on 31 May 2018, aged 21.
