Jackie Hinchcliffe
Player #458 for Aston Villa, John Hinchcliffe, known as Jackie Hinchliffe, played as a midfielder for the club in the wing half position.
Jackie played for Villa in 1957-58 making two appearances.
Jackie was born in Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire, Scotland, on 4 June 1938 and made his debut appearance for Villa on Saturday, 5 October 1957 aged 19.
Villa had signed Jackie from L. Pieterโs Boysโ Club and would go on to make his second and final appearance a week after his debut. Jackie subsequently moved on to Workington in June 1958.
Jackie had played under manager Eric Houghton.
