Fred Tully
Player #328 for Aston Villa, Frederick Arnold Charles Tully, known as Fred Tully played as a winger for the club.
Fred played for Villa in 1927-28 and 1928-29 making 7 appearances.
Fred was born in St. Pancras, London on 4 July 1907 and made his debut appearance for Villa on the 27 December 1927 aged 20.
Villa had signed Fred from the Chaddleston Mental Hospital works team in October 1926 and he made 6 of his 7 appearances in his debut season as Villa went on to finish 8th.
Fred played his last, and only game of the 1927-28 season on 22 September 1928 before moving on to Southampton in July 1933 having not made a first team appearance for Villa in 5 years.
Fred had played under the Billy Smith led Management Committee.
Fred passed away in 1969 aged 62.
