Bobby Evans

Bobby represented Villa in the 1906-07 and 1907-08 seasons.

Bobby was born in Chester on 21st November 1885 and made his debut for the club as a 20 year old on the 3rd November 1906.

Villa had signed Bobby from Wrexham for £30 in March 1906. In total Bobby made 17 appearances helping Villa to 5th and 2nd place finishes.

Villa sold Bobby to Sheffield United in October 1908 at a significant profit for £1,100 plus centre forward Peter Kyle having made his final appearance as a 21 year old on 9th November 1907.

Bobby played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.

Bobby passed away in Chester on 28 November 1965 aged 80.
