Albert Hinchley
Player #77 for Aston Villa, Albert Audley Hinchley, known as Albert Hinchley played as a goalkeeper for the club. Albert represented Villa 11 times in the 1891-92 season.
Albert was born in Warwick on 7th August 1869 and made his debut as a 22 year old on 24th October 1891.
Villa had signed Albert from Warwick County and was the eleventh custodian of the Villa goal in League and Cup football and conceded 22 goals in 11 games at a ratio of 2.00 goals per game.
Albert did however manage to secure 2 clean sheets in his 11 appearances.
Albertโs final game for Villa came on the 2nd January 1892 after which he moved on to Cape Hill FC.
Albert played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Albert passed away in Birmingham in June 1922 aged 52.
