Villa's ACL curse continues

Jill Baijings becomes the latest Villa player to suffer anterior cruciate ligament following her injury in the draw at Arsenal. Jill initially joined on loan in July 2024 before signing permanently from Bayern Munich in the Summer but is now likely to face a long wait to add to her 15 WSL appearances for Vila.
