Sam Lewis rejoins Oxford City on loan

Sam Lewis has rejoined Oxford City on a one-month loan.

Sam initially joined City on a one-month deal in August before seeing that agreement extended to the end of November.

In total, in his initial spell, Sam made 15 appearances for the National League North side and kept three clean sheets, but injury saw him return to Bodymoor for rehabilitation before Villa decided to send him back out to resume his experience with the Hoops.

“I obviously spent the first half the the season here and had a great time, but I also felt my injury came just at a time where we were picking up better results as a group.

“It always felt like I had more to give and almost felt like there was unfinished business, so I’m buzzing to be given the opportunity to return on loan and give everything for the time I’m here.

Sam could go straight into the squad for today's game against Buxton in National League North.
