Ewan Simpson 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 joins Hamilton on loan

Villa u21 attacking midfielder Ewan Simpson has joined Scottish League One side Hamilton Academical on loan for the 2025-26 season.

Ewan signed for a fee of €290k from Heart of Midlothian 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 to join Villa’s youth set up, having played for Hearts as a 15-year-old in their 2021-22 Scottish FA Cup run. It is hoped Simpson will gain more first-team appearances at Hamilton with his loan scheduled to run from 23 Aug 2025 to 30 Jun 2026.
