Terry Morrall
Player #469 for Aston Villa, Terence Stephen Morrall, known as Terry Morrall, played as a centre half for the club.
Terry played for Villa in 1959-60 and 1960-61 making 9 appearances.
Terry was born in Smethwick, less than 5 miles from Villa Park, on 24 November 1938 and made his debut appearance for Villa on Saturday, 22 August 1959 aged 20.
Villa had signed Terry from Church Rovers in 1953 and he signed professional forms with the club in November 1955.
Terry went on to make 3 appearances as Villa took the Second Division Championship and won promotion back to Division One at the first attempt.
Terry also appeared in Villaโs victorious League Cup campaign in 1960-61 as Villa went on to lift the trophy after vanquishing Rotherham United in the two legged final.
Terry played his final game for Villa on Saturday, 15 October 1960 aged 21 before moving on to Shrewsbury Town in May 1961.
Terry had played under manager Joe Mercer.
