Peter Kyle

Peter played for Villa in the 1907-08 and 1908-09.
Peter was born in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, Scotland in September 1880 and made his debut for the club at the age of 27 on the 14th March 1908.
Villa had signed Peter from Woolwich Arsenal in March 1908.
Over his 2 part seasons with Villa he made just 5 appearances and failed to score. A renowned hot-head Kyle was soon dispatched to pastures new.
Kyle played his final game for Villa on 5th September 1908 aged 27 after which he moved on to Sheffield United along with Bobby Evans for a fee of £1,100 in October 1908.
Kyle had played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Peter passed away in Glasgow in 1961 aged 80.
