August 2017: Aged 18, becomes the 915th player to play for Villa in first-team League or Cup football since the clubโs first entry into the FA Cup in 1879.

Biography
Mitch Clark
Player #913 for Aston Villa, Mitchell Clark, played as a right back for the club during the 2017-18 season.
Mitchell was born in Nuneaton on 13 March 1997.
Clark had signed professional forms with Villa as a 17-year-old in July 2016.
Clark was promoted to the first team by Steve Bruce and was named as an unused substitute on Wednesday, 9 August 2017, aged 18, in the 2-1 EFL Cup 1st Round win at Colchester United.
For the following round - on Tuesday, 22 August 2017 - against Wigan Athletic in which Villa ran out 4-1 winners, Clark was named in the starting XI to make his sole appearance for Villa, playing the full 90 minutes.
Clark was again an unused substitute in the subsequent EFL 3rd Round cup defeat to Middlesbrough, but would not play for the first team again or make a match-day squad.
For the 2018-19 Football League Championship season, Steve Bruce sent Mitchell out to Port Vale on a season-long loan.
At the end of that campaign, Mitchell was released by Villa at the age of 20 on 29 July 2019, following which he was recruited by Premier League outfit Leicester City, after which he was once again loaned out to Port Vale.
