John Brittleton
Player #330 for Aston Villa, John Thomas Brittleton, played as a full back for the club.
John played for Villa between 1927-28 and 1929-30 making 10 appearances.
John was born in Winsford, Cheshire on 5 May 1900 and made his debut appearance for Villa on the 25 February 1928 aged 27.
Villa had signed John from Chester in February 1928 and he went on to make the first team 7 times in 1928-29 as Villa finished third in the First Division table.
John played his final game for Villa on 26 April 1930 aged 29 before his football league registration was cancelled and he moved on to Winsford United in January 1932.
John had played under the Billy Smith led Management Committee.
John passed away in Cheshire in 1970 aged 70.
