Harry Griffin
Player #165 for Aston Villa, Harry George Griffin, known as Harry Griffin played as a forward for the club.
Harry made his sole appearance for Villa in the 1902-03 season.
Harry was born in Dudley, just 10 miles from Villa Park in September 1878 and made his only appearance for Villa as a 24 year old on 4th October 1902 in the 1-0 home defeat to Sunderland.
Villa had signed Harry from Dorset County and he moved on to Dudley Town. He would return to the club once again in 1905 however was released to Cradley St. Luke’s shortly thereafter.
Harry had played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Harry passed away in Wolverhampton in April 1946 aged 67.
