Player #852 for Aston Villa, Graham Dylan Burke played as a forward for the club in Villa’s 2012-13 Premier League campaign making two appearances.
Graham was born in Dublin, Ireland on 21 December 1993.
Graham had come through the Youth Team ranks at Villa before signing professional forms with the club in July 2011. Paul Lambert promoted Graham to the first team squad for the first game of the 2012-13 season - and his first game in charge of Villa - in the 0-1 defeat at West Ham United on Saturday, 18 August 2012.
Graham would be named in the next 3 Villa squads and made his debut as a 76’ substitute for Chris Herd in Villa’s 3-0 win over Tranmere Rovers in the League Cup 2nd Round on Tuesday, 28 August 2012.
After appearing in the Premier League for Villa’s 1-1 draw at Newcastle United on Sunday, 2 September 2012 and remaining an unused substitute, Graham wouldn’t be named in a squad by Lambert again until his final appearance as a 85’ substitute for Darren Bent in Villa’s 1-3 defeat at Bradford City in the League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg on Tuesday, 8 January 2013.
Although Graham remained with Villa for the 2013-14 season, Lambert sent him out on loan to Shrewsbury Town for the first two months of the season from August to October 2013. On his return Graham wouldn’t be named in any Villa squads that season and for the 2014-15 campaign, Graham would once again not be named in any squads by Lambert. With Lambert finally sacked in February 2015, his successor Tim Sherwood sent Graham out on loan to Notts County from March to May 2015 before moving on to County in July 2015 on a free transfer aged 21.
Graham had played under Paul Lambert.
