Player #945 for Aston Villa, Borja González Tomás, known as Borja Bastón played as a centre forward for the club during the 2019-20 season.
Bastón was born in Madrid, Spain on 25 August 1992.
Villa signed Bastón on a free transfer from Swansea City on 31 January 2020 at the age of 27, taking over his contract for the remainder of the 2019-20 Premier League season.
Bastón made his Villa debut as a substitute in the Premier League defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park on Sunday, 16 February 2020 and made his final appearance 6 days later on Saturday, 22 February 2020, as Villa lost away to Southampton.
Bastón made a further 3 squad appearances as an unused substitute before being released by the club on 30 June 2020.
Bastón had played under Villa boss Dean Smith.
