Arthur Phoenix
Player #310 for Aston Villa, Arthur Frederick Phoenix, nicknamed Ginger, played as a centre forward for the club.
Arthur played for Villa in 1924-25 making 4 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
Arthur was born in Patricroft, Manchester on 5 March 1902 and he made his debut appearance for Villa on 26 December 1924 aged 22.
Arthur had moved from Birmingham in May 1924 and although he hit a brace on his debut to defeat against Leeds United 2-1 he was to only feature on three further occasions before he moved on to Barnsley in May 1925.
Arthur had played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Arthur passed away in 1979 aged 77.
