Villa end the regulation season with a defeat but finish in third place in the Premier League South table with eight wins in twenty games, including a strong eleven-game unbeaten run from September to February, culminating in their spectacular 10-1 dismantling of second-placed Arsenal.
Despite gaining more points than the Champions of Premier Reserve League North Group B, and also having beaten them in October, Villa take no further part in the season and miss out on the Champions play-offs.
