Villa lift the Midland Youth Cup for the first time since 1982, coming from behind to defeat Leicester after extra time at Filbert Street.
The tie was originally scheduled to be played over two legs; however, Villa agreed to the trophy being settled in a one-off game.
The game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, after Richard Walker had equalised. Aaron Lescott then put Villa ahead in the first period of extra time, but another Leicester penalty equalised the score once again on the cusp of the crossover. Villa werenโt to be denied, however, and two more goals, a second from Richard Walker followed by one from Lee Collins, meant the trophy was in Villaโs hands once again after their last victory in 1982.
