Percy Jones

Percy played for Villa between 1921-22 and 1923-24 making 15 appearances.

Percy was born in Aston, less than a mile from Villa Park, in 1899 and he made his debut appearance for Villa on 8 February 1922 aged 23.

Villa had signed Percy from Birmingham University Old Boys in October 1921 and was mainly used as a backup player in the league making 7 appearances - his most in a single season - in 1921-22.

Percy played his last game for Villa on 22 September 1923 aged 24 before moving on to Cradley Heath.

Percy had played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.

Percy passed away in Birmingham in 1960 aged 61.
