Player #444 for Aston Villa, Norman Frederick MichaelClarke, nicknamed Nobby, played as a midfielder for the club in the wing half position.
Nobby played for Villa in 1954-55 making a single appearance.
Nobby was born in Aston, less than a mile from Villa Park, on 31 October 1934 and made his sole appearance for Villa on Saturday, 5 February 1955 aged 20.
Villa had signed Nobby from Aston Boys in 1950 as a junior and he signed professional forms with the club in July 1953.
Following his single appearance for the club, Norman moved on to Torquay United.
Nobby had played under Villa manager Eric Houghton.
Nobby passed away in Bridgewater on 11 November 1997 aged 63.
