Ken Fencott
Player #492 for Aston Villa, Kenneth Sydney Fencott, known as Ken Fencott and Kenny Fencott, played as a forward for the club.
Ken played for Villa between 1961-62 and 1963-64 making 5 appearances.
Ken was born in Walsall, just 8 miles from Villa Park, on 27 December 1943 and made his debut appearance for Villa on Saturday, 18 November 1961 aged just 17.
Villa had signed Ken from the Staffordshire & Birmingham County FA in March 1959 and he signed professional forms with the club in January 1961.
Ken was used as a back up player for the first team over his 3 seasons with the club.
Ken moved on to Lincoln City after playing his final game for Villa on Saturday, 22 February 1964.
Ken had played under Villa manager Joe Mercer.
Ken passed away on 11 November 2023 aged 79.
