Jack Graham
Player #63 for Aston Villa, John Richmond Graham, known as Jack Graham played as forward for the club in the inside forward position. Jack represented Villa between 1889-90 and 1891-92.
Jack was born in Smethwick, less than 5 miles from Villaโs current home, in August 1868 and made his debut as a 21 year old on 25th January 1890.
Villa had signed Jack from Oldbury Broadwell.
Jackโs most successful season was in 1890-91 when he helped Villa to a top 10 finish in the league, appearing on 16 occasions.
Jackโs final game came as a 23 year old on 5th March 1892.
Jack then moved on to Brierley Hill Alliance.
Jack played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Jack passed away in West Bromwich in 1932 aged 64.
