Albert Surtees
Player #305 for Aston Villa, Albert Edward Surtees, played as a forward for the club.
Albert played for Villa in 1923-24 and 1924-25 making 11 appearances and scoring once.
Albert was born in Willington Quay, Tyneside on 24 February 1902 and he made his debut appearance for Villa on 2 April 1924 aged 22.
Villa had signed Albert from Preston Colliery in July 1922 making 9 appearances in his 2nd season before playing his final game on 4 April 1925 before moving to West Ham United in August 1925.
Albert had played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Albert passed away on 30th July 1963 aged 61.
