Albert Brown
Player #144 for Aston Villa, Albert Brown and nicknamed The Tamworth Sprinter played as a forward for the club.
Albert represented Villa in 1900-01.
Albert was born in Tamworth on 1st April 1879 and made his debut appearance for the club on the 24th November 1900 aged 21 and scoring both goals in the away draw with Sheffield United.
Villa had signed Albert from Tamworth and he went on to appear on one more occasion for Villa before he moved on to Southampton.
Albert played under the George Ramsay led Management Committee.
Albert passed away in Birmingham on 6th May 1955 aged 76.
