Villa suffer defeat at the hands of Chelsea for the second time in three games and now have six losses in their last ten games as their tilt for runners up spot continues to derail.
Chelsea score completely against the run of play at the end of a first half in which Villa had totally dominated. Chelsea do exactly that again in the second 45' to take a 1-2 lead undeserved on the balance of play.
Two goals in the final three minutes put paid to Villa's hopes of a comeback as Tommy Jackson has his most 'difficult' game of the season.
