 1905-06 Season Notes

Villa fell back to 8th place from the previous season's fourth. Although they only accumulated two less points than 1904-05 that was enough to drop them behind renamed neighbours Small Heath Alliance, as Birmingham (who would add City to their name 38 years later) finished above Villa for the first time in their history.
